Community House
Community House is a charming event venue located in the heart of Dana Point’s vibrant Lantern District. The vintage one-story building is located at 24642 San Juan Avenue, a quiet lane off Golden Lantern Street between Del Prado Avenue and Pacific Coast Highway and has 30 on-site parking spaces and access to ample adjacent street parking.
Built in 1951 through the generosity of donors who wanted to create a meeting place for local non-profits and community organizations, it has served as DPWC’s Clubhouse for almost three quarters of a century. The 2,500 square foot facility is also available for meetings, corporate events, parties, celebrations of life, anniversaries, weddings and other celebrations. It accommodates up to 100 people for indoor dining, and up to 150 seated theater style. Our exterior garden area facilitates outdoor gatherings and activities.

The Venue
Community House offers charming indoor and outdoor event spaces that can host up to 100 guests for indoor dining and 150 seated theater style. Catering Kitchen amenities are available for storing and heating catered food. Rental rates include up to 100 Chiavari chairs, 50 outdoor chairs and an assortment of round, rectangular and high-top tables. We are happy to provide a list of recommended vendors who are familiar with our venue.

Venue pricing is dependent on the timing and nature of the meeting or event. Recurring rentals are available upon request.
