Dana Point Women’s Club members are South Orange County women of all ages and walks of life who join together to have "fun in philanthropy". They generously donate their time, talents and financial resources to strengthen the local community through our many Philanthropic Projects. Our programs empower and support local women, children and families and are focused on addressing hunger, preventing homelessness, and promoting literacy and education.

Our Commitment
Monthly Meetings
Generally the first Thursday of each month September through June held alternately at 11AM or 5PM with 30 minutes of social time prior to the meeting.
Fundraisers/Member Events
Hosted throughout the year
Our monthly meetings include board updates, sharing a meal together (catered or potluck style), and hearing from an interesting speaker and/or participating in a fun interactive event. Most of the meetings are held at Community House, DPWC's Clubhouse, and on occasion at other local Dana Point establishments. This has been our tradition since 1951! Meetings are held September through June, with the summer months reserved for Board training and annual planning.
We host several fundraisers throughout the year, including our Annual Chili Cook Off in the Fall, and Cocktails for a Cause in the Spring. Our members are encouraged to solicit auction and raffle prizes from local vendors and/or create their own gifts to enhance our fundraisers and help us meet our philanthropic goals. We also host "Girl's Nights Out" at local restaurants, wine tastings, paint events, art and cultural outings, member game days or nights, a monthly book club and more. We encourage our members to forge lasting friendships and participate fully in our DPWC sisterhood.
